Gill Haig-Brown

Qualified from City University in 1973. Diploma of Contact Lens in 1979. Obtained Fellowship of College of Optometrists in 1980.

Started career as house refractionist at the London Refraction Hospital in 1973, then moved on to specialise within a private contact lens practice in Devonshire Street. In 1989, moved to Esher in order to form Haig-Brown Optometrists.

Areas of expertise include:
Complex contact lens fittings, biometry measurement and OCT.

Nicola Haig-Brown

Qualified from Cardiff University in 2003.
Post qualification, worked at Kingston Royal Eye Unit and in private practice for a year. Joined Haig-Brown Optometrists in 2004.

Areas of expertise include:
Paediatric optometry and contact lenses.

Peter McNeil
BSc(Hons) MCOptom
Qualified from Cardiff University in 2003.
Post qualification, worked at The Royal Eye Infirmary for a total of 4 years. During this period, I was also working at an independent practice, near Plymouth, experiencing both sides of optometry life.
Joined Haig-Brown Optometrists in August 2008.

Areas of expertise include:
'Medical retina' , in particular patients with diabetes and glaucoma.
