Cancellation and failure to attend policy

Our patients are very important to us and we are committed to providing everyone with exceptional care. When a patient cancels without giving enough notice, they prevent another person from being seen.

Please call us on 01372 466762 or email us icare@haig-brown.co.uk 24 hours before your scheduled appointment to notify us of any changes or cancellations.

If prior notification is not given or the appointment is missed a fee of £35 will be charged. If NHS appointments are missed or not cancelled in line with our policy, we do not guarantee being able to offer you NHS services in the future.

We do, of course, understand that unavoidable issues come up and we will do our best to work with you in case of an emergency.

As a courtesy we can contact you by text message to confirm the date and time of your appointment. However please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times in order to avoid missed appointments and cancellation fees. You are always welcome to call and double check any appointments if you’re unsure.

Our goal in communicating our cancellation and failure to attend policy is to avoid any extra charges being passed on to you.
