Cancellation and failure to attend policy
Our patients are very important to us and we are committed to providing everyone with exceptional care. When a patient cancels without giving enough notice, they prevent another person from being seen.
Please call us on 01372 466762 or email us icare@haig-brown.co.uk 24 hours before your scheduled appointment to notify us of any changes or cancellations.
If prior notification is not given or the appointment is missed a fee of £35 will be charged. If NHS appointments are missed or not cancelled in line with our policy, we do not guarantee being able to offer you NHS services in the future.
We do, of course, understand that unavoidable issues come up and we will do our best to work with you in case of an emergency.
As a courtesy we can contact you by text message to confirm the date and time of your appointment. However please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times in order to avoid missed appointments and cancellation fees. You are always welcome to call and double check any appointments if you’re unsure.
Our goal in communicating our cancellation and failure to attend policy is to avoid any extra charges being passed on to you.

Designer Prescription Sunglasses

Pack Frames and lenses
We have options to suit all budgets. Our pack range is ideal for an inexpensive pair of glasses, is priced at £86 and includes high quality Essilor single vision lenses.
Glasses fitting and repairs
When you own a pair of Haig-Brown glasses, all adjustments and repairs (where possible) are free of charge no matter how old the frames. Pop in any time to see Colin, Rob or Ana for an adjustment, a replacement of nose pads or even just a professional glasses clean.
Free Refils of Glasklar
When you buy a new pair of glasses from the designer range you will be given a case and cleaning cloth, plus a bottle of the leading glasses cleaning spray from Glasklar. This is worth £7 and its bottomless, so when you run out just pop back in with the bottle and we will refill it.
If you purchase a bottle of Glasklar you are also entitled to limitless free refills!
